Terms of Service

By accessing and using Brandicons ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

Brandicons provides an API service for fetching and serving brand icons for domains. The Service includes:

• API endpoints for icon retrieval
• Global CDN delivery
• Icon discovery and caching
• Usage analytics and management dashboard

API keys provided by Brandicons are domain-locked and designed to be used in client-side applications. However, you are responsible for:

• Maintaining accurate allowed domain lists for your API keys
• Monitoring your API key usage
• Reporting any suspected unauthorized use immediately
• Not attempting to circumvent domain restrictions

You agree not to:

• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or discover the source code of the Service
• Use the Service to scrape or harvest data beyond its intended use
• Overload or attempt to disrupt the Service infrastructure (DDoS, spam, etc.)
• Share your account credentials or transfer your API keys to third parties
• Use the Service to store, transmit, or distribute malicious content
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation

Your use of the Service is subject to rate limits based on your subscription plan:

• Rate limits are enforced per API key
• Cached icons served from CDN do not count toward your request quota
• Exceeding rate limits may result in temporary throttling or service suspension
• We reserve the right to adjust rate limits to ensure service quality for all users

• Paid plans are billed monthly or annually according to your selected plan
• All payments are processed securely through Paddle, our payment processor
• Subscription renewals occur automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers
• Failure to pay may result in service suspension or termination

Our IP: Brandicons, its logo, and the Service interface are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our branding without permission.

Third-Party Icons: Icons served through our Service are trademarks of their respective owners. We do not claim ownership of brand icons. You are responsible for ensuring your use of icons complies with the respective brand's trademark policies.

While we strive for high availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service:

• Maintenance windows may be scheduled with advance notice when possible
• Service may be temporarily unavailable due to technical issues
• We are not liable for any damages resulting from service downtime
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice

Our icon discovery system works asynchronously. By using the Service, you understand that:

• First requests for uncached domains may return placeholder images
• Icon discovery happens in the background and typically completes within seconds
• Not all domains may have discoverable icons
• Icon quality and availability depend on source data

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BRANDICONS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms:

• You may cancel your account at any time
• We may terminate accounts for violations with or without notice
• Upon termination, your access to the Service will be immediately revoked
• Account data may be deleted according to our data retention policy

We may modify these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be notified via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules.
